Why Take A Balcony Cabin On Star Cruises

If you are planning to take a cruise with us, you may want to consider taking a Balcony Cabin. Here are some reasons why you should:

1) Most balcony rooms have floor to ceiling transparent doors which give you a much better view than just a window, whether it be a porthole or full sized window.  And when you are cruising it’s all about taking in the sights.  What better way to enjoy these sights than from the comfort of your own room where you can order free room service and put your feet up.

2) Even if you can still see the ocean with a window in your room, or imagine it with an interior room, there is nothing like feeling the ocean breeze as you cruise from island to island in your balcony cabin. When the cruise ship really gets moving the breeze can be a little too intense, but even if you want to stay inside your cabin and leave the door open a little it’s nice to breathe in that ocean air.

3) It’s nice to be able to lay out on the pool deck with a lounge chair and get some sun, but sometimes the pool deck can get a little too busy. That’s why it’s nice to be able to go back to your own private room and put your feet up where no one can bother you.

4) Imagine opening your balcony door to see a new and breathtaking part of the world each morning. A stateroom with a balcony is a great way to make your cruise adventure even more memorable and truly take in your destination.

5) There is nothing like having a balcony on a cruise. The view on a cruise is always changing. It's not just water, ocean, water, ocean but you have an almost constant view of some of the most beautiful destinations you'll ever see.

6) Private balconies are a great way to escape the crowds. You can enjoy the same view from your own deck chair while having a cup of coffee - but without the crowds!

7) Balcony cabins seems bigger. With a balcony, it's almost as though you have floor to ceiling window to the most magnificent views in the world. Balcony cabins are the ultimate way to relax and enjoy your privacy.
Balcony staterooms offer the benefit of a large, glass door out to your own private verandah overlooking the ocean or current port of call. They have more of verandah space which includes a couple of deck chairs and a small table . . . perfect for morning coffee, room service, or anything else you may care to imagine. Balcony cabins typically include twin beds that can convert into queen-size, private bathroom, vanity area, closed circuit TV, radio and telephone.

8) Balcony cabins can make you feel as though you are at the end of the world, offering 180-degree views over the stern's wake. And, the balconies are almost always at least 50 percent bigger than standard balconies located along the sides of the ship.

Benefits of Cruising with Star Cruises, Part II

Read Part 1 of this article here

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #11: Included activities and entertainment create a built-in spouse program and a variety of options for your group when they are not in meetings. Kids and teens have their own activities and lounges on ships, making family program planning a breeze.

Benefits of a Cruise vacation #12: An abundance of dining options and ever-changing menus make meals memorable. From elegant dining rooms to intimate specialty restaurants and casual poolside grills, ship dining will please even the most discerning tastes. Guests order “off the menu” and enjoy unlimited servings.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #13: Adventure and convenience: Your group can visit multiple destinations with comfort and ease on a cruise ship – no extra packing and unpacking. Each day in a new port brings the anticipation of exploration, discovery and adventure.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #14: Great Value: Your cruise ticket will get you a comfortable stateroom with great housekeeping. The pampering services you find on our cruise liners are exceptional and can be compared to those in the most expensive luxury resorts. The price of your cruise also includes all of your snacks and meals. You may eat in elegant dining rooms where you can enjoy many gourmet dishes, or have a burger or hot dog by the pool.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #15: Vacation Activities: Cruise vacations also allow you to continue with your holiday activities while you’re sailing to the next exciting destination. Bask by the poolside or check out the casino! Always check the cruise schedule program to find out what activities are offered onboard and are included in the cruise package.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #16: Convenience: Another great thing about cruising is most of your expenses are paid in advance. This means you don’t have to take a lot of money with you during your vacation. By not having to race around making arrangements for hotels, car rentals or dinner reservations, you will have more quality time to spend with your family or friends. A cruise vacation is a fun and convenient way for your entire family to enjoy every minute of their vacation.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #17: A Cruise over a traditional vacation includes great variety, convenience, activities, and value. It is a great way to spend a fun-filled or relaxing holiday everyone will enjoy. You also get an opportunity to “scout” locations for your next land-based vacation. Contact an online cruise-booking agent to arrange for a cruise vacation and you will see why cruises are such a popular vacation choice!

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #18: Cruising offers you many pros over other holiday types. Firstly you only need to unpack once when you are on your cruise, saving yourself the hassle of unpacking at several different hotels during your vacation. Secondly, you will find that on the majority of cruises all of your meals and entertainment are included, so you can eat as much as you like! This is excellent value for money, especially for those with a larger appetite.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #19: If you are part of a family or group with different expectations from your holiday, then a cruise is an excellent option. For those that want to relax and lie on the deck, soaking up the sun next to the pool or simply reading their favourite book are options. Alternatively, for the more active person, there are activities that include, aerobics, dance classes, mini golf, kids clubs, rock climbing, bingo, cinema and much more.

Benefit of a Cruise vacation #20: Depending on which cruise you take and what the itinerary is, there is the opportunity to visit several different countries in the space of your seven or fourteen night cruise, or whatever it may be. Our cruise liners dock in the early morning, allowing passengers to disembark at the port of call. Often a representative of the ship will be ashore offering guidance and advice as to which activities and excursions are recommended.
