Why Take A Balcony Cabin On Star Cruises

If you are planning to take a cruise with us, you may want to consider taking a Balcony Cabin. Here are some reasons why you should:

1) Most balcony rooms have floor to ceiling transparent doors which give you a much better view than just a window, whether it be a porthole or full sized window.  And when you are cruising it’s all about taking in the sights.  What better way to enjoy these sights than from the comfort of your own room where you can order free room service and put your feet up.

2) Even if you can still see the ocean with a window in your room, or imagine it with an interior room, there is nothing like feeling the ocean breeze as you cruise from island to island in your balcony cabin. When the cruise ship really gets moving the breeze can be a little too intense, but even if you want to stay inside your cabin and leave the door open a little it’s nice to breathe in that ocean air.

3) It’s nice to be able to lay out on the pool deck with a lounge chair and get some sun, but sometimes the pool deck can get a little too busy. That’s why it’s nice to be able to go back to your own private room and put your feet up where no one can bother you.

4) Imagine opening your balcony door to see a new and breathtaking part of the world each morning. A stateroom with a balcony is a great way to make your cruise adventure even more memorable and truly take in your destination.

5) There is nothing like having a balcony on a cruise. The view on a cruise is always changing. It's not just water, ocean, water, ocean but you have an almost constant view of some of the most beautiful destinations you'll ever see.

6) Private balconies are a great way to escape the crowds. You can enjoy the same view from your own deck chair while having a cup of coffee - but without the crowds!

7) Balcony cabins seems bigger. With a balcony, it's almost as though you have floor to ceiling window to the most magnificent views in the world. Balcony cabins are the ultimate way to relax and enjoy your privacy.
Balcony staterooms offer the benefit of a large, glass door out to your own private verandah overlooking the ocean or current port of call. They have more of verandah space which includes a couple of deck chairs and a small table . . . perfect for morning coffee, room service, or anything else you may care to imagine. Balcony cabins typically include twin beds that can convert into queen-size, private bathroom, vanity area, closed circuit TV, radio and telephone.

8) Balcony cabins can make you feel as though you are at the end of the world, offering 180-degree views over the stern's wake. And, the balconies are almost always at least 50 percent bigger than standard balconies located along the sides of the ship.
