Genting Hong Kong celebrates its 20th anniversary amongst the stars

HONG KONG & SINGAPORE – Genting Hong Kong, a leading global leisure, entertainment and hospitality corporation, has brought director Jack Neo, the cast and crew of the highest-grossing Singaporean motion picture “Ah Boys to Men” on board SuperStar Virgo to celebrate the overwhelming success of the movie with passengers from around the world.
This cruise was part of Genting Hong Kong’s 20th anniversary celebration as well as Star Cruises’ first cruise out of Singapore on December 23,1993.
The cruise set sail for a two-night trip to Redang Island on May 3, 2013, with more than 1,980 passengers from countries like Australia, Japan, Korea, Indonesia and China, among many others. Themed events were centred on the blockbuster Singaporean movie “Ah Boys to Men”.
Genting Hong Kong has also brought “Ah Boys to Men” to the Philippines for an exclusive premiere at Resorts World Manila and to Taiwan for a gala premiere early this month. On both occasions, Jack Neo and the cast of “Ah Boys to Men” wooed the audience and the local media with their humour and friendliness.
